Team Dosey to the Rescue

Dosey and her Mom Ann were a familiar pair around The Hearthstone, coming and going from The Lakeside building several times a day for several years. Sadly, Dosey lost her trusty walking partner when Ann passed away. With Mary, Ann’s partner of thirty+ years and Dosey’s other Mom, unable to walk Dosey, residents have stepped up (literally and figuratively) to accompany her on daily outings. In an effort that embodies the true definition of Community, participating residents sign up on a calendar created by our Resident Engagement team. A labor of love by the “Dosey walkers” and The Hearthstone staff, her four times daily outings include mandatory treat stops at the front desk, one of Dosey’s happiest places.
